About me
Born 1987 in Austria. Graduated 2013 as MSc in Biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Austria. In 2017 she finished her PhD studies at the Austrian Institute of Technology (Austria) and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (Singapore) on the project „Extracellular Vesicles and their detection by plasmonic biosensors for the diagnosis of ovarian cancer“. She won the international Falling Walls Lab competition in 2017 in Berlin, where she presented her PhD project within three minutes.
Since 2017, she works as a PostDoc at the University of Vienna and studies how extracellular vesicles influence different functions in our body, how they change with age, and how they can be used for diagnosis of diseases like cancer.
